The ‘Advanced’ option under the ‘Data Format Extension’ tab in LoadRunner Runtime Settings helps to set up the default or custom JRE path for DFE. By choosing the default JRE path, VuGen accesses the JRE located in the installation package. On the other hand, by providing the custom JRE path, you ask VuGen to use the desired version of JRE.
